Family Word Trace

Write family member names on paper and place inside clear sheet protectors. Place in a three ring binder or folder with brads. Children can take copy paper or tracing paper and place on top of the names and trace the words they see through the paper. Staple the pages into a family book for each child.

Fingerprint Families

Provide washable stamp pads. Prepare booklets by stapling together a few pages. Write one number on each page. Children use the stamp pads to make fingerprints so that there are the correct number on each page according to the numbers written there. Then they can use a pen or markers to add details to the people. They could use thumbs for adults, fingers for children and pinkies for babies.
